Day 2: Wednesday

As of 10:35pm:

Thanks for setting up the blog ...Thanks for all of your prayers. Holly is doing much better today.

We are encouraged with the visits with Holly. Swelling not getting any worse, no more bleeding...Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers!

We have seen huge improvements just today. She is talking and not so sleepy. She was asking questions about the kids, and giving instructions what to do with them. She remembered things she had done and said days before the accident, so we are encouraged greatly!

They did tell us today she has another fracture in her neck, C1 and C7. They don't expect to have any problem from them if the C collar stays on for 3+ weeks. She is scheduled for surgery on Friday again for her leg and foot.

Ryissa was released this evening, and hope to have Nick out in another day or two, Lord willing...

** corrections** as previously reported, Ryissa having a head injury...she does not have a head injury, but an arm injury. Nick has a skull fracture and labs were low, so they were keeping him in to be on the safe side.

As of 12midnight:

Tired after spending the day at the hospital-but thankful that the kids are doing so well. Holly knew who we were, but remains very sedated... Another CT scan in the AM...- Starr Ingersoll Arthur

  1. Its been a tough 2 days. And its going to continue to be tough and painful and challenging. Know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. Day and night. All across this globe. So many people have been holding vigil with your family. We're so glad you're still with us -- its hard to believe when one looks at these photos of the car wreck. Love, peace and strength to you Holly and Nicholas and Ryissa. And to your hubby and siblings and folk. Shalom!
